This is the team blog for students of the “Global Communications In The Age Of Social Media” course being taught by Rohit Bhargava at the Georgetown University Masters of Public Relations program during the Summer of 2009.
Our class has a unique format, where students will be focusing on a different part of the world for each class throughout the course for six weeks, followed by a week where the entire class travels to London to work on several projects. The countries the class will be working on during the course are Russia, Sweden, South Africa, Brazil, India & China.
The course is also part of the Center for Social Impact at Georgetown University, so the theme of our work will be on the use of social media globally to help change perceptions and behaviors for advocacy programs. Come back each week between June 8th and July 31 of 2009 to see new posts and perspectives from the students on each region they will be focusing on.
